Overview
This BD Manager will be based in Shanghai, joining an elite sales and application organization that strives to deliver innovative solutions that add value to *****’s customers. A self-motivated, energetic, experienced Business Development Professional, the candidate will help develop China business growth plan by building up and manage the network of design houses or any kind of design partners to grow ***** business in selected market segments. This position will have high visibility within all departments of ***** and requires ownership and accountability.
Reporting structure
This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Director of the Sales team.
Tasks and responsibilities
· Work closely with Business Units for strategic alignment.
· Locate and cultivate partnerships with local Independent Design Houses (IDHs) in China industrial and other emerging market segments.
· Build partner channel loyalty by helping partners win in the market.
· Manage the business and working relationship with IDH/Partners.
· Working closely with account sales or distributor sales to generate revenue through partner value added services.
Qualifications and skills
· Expertise in one or multiple of following segments: medical devices, industrial control, automation and energy management.
· Ability to manage complex business models with multiple parties.
· Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
· BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
· Good English language abilities.
