Description:
SinoStar Technology Inc. is seeking an individual for the position of Field Service Engineer. Performs customer support activities involved with the installation, modification, and consultancy for IP/IC products.
Working closely with direct sales for large and complex accounts to educate prospective customers about the superiority of products and services. This includes conference calls, site visits, presentations, technical evaluations, technical objection handling, & follow up on all customer related issues.
Overseeing the technical aspects of the customer proposal process. This includes ensuring that all technical information and recommendations address customer requirements.
Working closely with Engineering and Product Management to be closely involved with future product direction and strategy and providing valuable input from "the field".
Coaching and mentoring new Systems Engineers in both Technical and Sales best Practices.
Maintains and enhances technical knowledge on company product lines, company literature and competition through attendance and participation at in-house training programs, travel, telephone contact with Manager and technical specialists as well as self-study by reading trade journals, manuals and books.
Helping recruit, hire, and train new Systems Engineers as continues its rapid growth and expansion. Assists with product training of new sales personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor or Master Degree of Electrical Engineering  or Computer Science
Excellent business writing, communication, and presentation skills in English
Detailed knowledge across the spectrum of Integrated Circuit technologies, Examples of these technologies are: RISC CPU, DSP, MPEG4, ASIC, FPGA or SoC design 2+ yrs experience in IP/IC related and ability to provide leadership to a rapidly expanding team Proven analytical abilities and a strong work ethic.
Willingness to travel to customer sites ~10% of the time as needed
Extensive Travel required.
