download the dvt eclipse IDE from eetop or anywhere you found with pre cracked.
find and extrac the ro.amiq.dvt.flclient-*.**.jar

install vscode. Install DVT IDE for Visual Studio Code extension.
Change the latest version to the same version you downloaded the eclipse IDE with pre cracked.

open extesion folder in vscode command section by pressing Ctrl+Shift+P
find the same jar file and replace it with the extracted one from downloaded pre cracked IDE.

set the license and hone directory from windows environment variable.
restart your PC. It should work.

I set the DVT_HOME directory as dvt win version installed path. should work with any

I put the license.dat file at the same location. should work with any location. lic veriable is DVT_LICENSE_FILE

Hello, my vscode dvt can start normally, but when I enter the code, such as "alwa", the code prompt "always @ posedge, etc." does not pop up. Do you know what I should do? This situation does not occur in DVT eclipse. Use "alt+/" to jump out of code completion.

I found a solution, it's a shortcut conflict, but I still don't know how to make it turn on by default instead of always using "ctrl+space"

Hi, I meet the same issue, also display "[dvt] Language Server did not start because launch command terminated with exit code 1!" in VScode.


I installed VScode and the latest dvt extension, reverted to the older version(ver.22.1.16), replaced the jar file, and set DVT_HOME and DVT_LICENSE_FILE in configuration of dvt extension.  I do not know what cause the issue. By the way, The DVT Eclipse i installed is dvt_kit-22.1.16-e419-win_64 from eetop, but can not find any license.dat file, can you share the file ?
