Key Responsibilities

The Software Development Manager will lead a team of 9-12 developers and testers to deliver on projects related to the graphics Kernel Mode Driver (KMD):


1. Provide day to day guidance for KMD related projects
2.Develop KMD project plans to take project from initiation to completion
3.Lead iterative design, rapid prototyping, and full implementation of core graphics software objectives
4.Manage Engineering staff, including responsibility for hiring, training, appraisals, and retention.

5. Develop team members’ technical and leadership skills to foster internal career development opportunities

Education and credentials

1.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field


Skills and Experience

1.
At least 5 years of Windows low level device drivers development experience
2. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and work effectively with multiple geographies around the world

3. Demonstrated ability to plan and execute on a wide variety of concurrent software engineering initiatives
4.Proven track record in delivering high volume of software engineering projects
5. Solid understanding of end-to-end software products and how they make the business successful
6. Ability to foster a creative and collaborative climate while providing leadership that results in clearly measurable quality criteria and plans

7. Skilled at gathering, analyzing, and monitoring progress and trends to ultimately reduce risk and improve quality of deliverables to our customers
8. Demonstrated track record working with other engineering and non-engineering departments to achieve business aims
9. Commitment to bringing new approaches and ideas to the team with a consistently positive attitude
10. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to enable successful communication with staff, peer managers, and cross-functional counterparts
