PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
1. Conduct evaluation of customer potential and develop strategic plan to achieve complete penetration of multiple product lines with customer.
2. Conduct market research to remain familiar with industry trends and competitive activity in the marketplace.
3. Interfaces with Engineering, Marketing and Product Development Teams.
4. Develop and maintain program status reports to track progress and ensure on-time delivery to meet customer requirements.
5. Prepare and present proposals and quotes to decision-makers at customer.
6. Act as company’s primary liaison for customer information and coordination of a global strategy to support customer global brands.
8. Works closely with Project Management team.
9. Drives daily promotions for necessary products.
10. Assist with sales forecasting and inventory management.
11. Develop vehicle launch cycle plans for all markets to support new tool requirements.
12. Revenue and Gross Margin accountability for assigned OEM.
13. Maintain and revise customer Global product related process when necessary.
14. Periodically visit customer dealerships to maintain awareness of issues and trends.
15. Schedule and participate in tech suites, trade shows, and other product presentations.
16. Identifies Electronic Product Development opportunities at assigned customers.
17. Sells full Service Solutions capability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related degree desired.
Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in sales position, preferably in automotive industry.

§ Excellent skills in persuasion and negotiation.
§ Good knowledge of automobile systems and automotive industry.
§ Good initiative and ability to work independently.
§ Ability to understand financial information and analyze financial aspects of a deal.
§ Demonstrated experience and success working in a fast paced, matrixed environment satisfying multiple customers.
§ Proven track record of meeting commitments with the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
§ An excellent team player.
§ Effective communicator, Able to tailor approach to audience.
§ Excellent verbal skills – logical and organized

§ Historically, has demonstrated understanding the difference between giving a best effort versus doing what’s necessary.
