1、JobTitle: Silicon Validation Engineer

Location:Shanghai

Qualifications:

M.S.E.E+ 2 years experience. Experience working in an IC testing environment withequipment such as Oscilloscopes and AWG's is desired but not required.Proficiency with Matlab or Python is desired but not required. Directexperience with Read Channels and hard disk drives is desired, but notrequired.

Departmentprofile: Silicon Validation Engineering group for Read Channels is responsiblefor validating all read channel devices designed by Marvell. The activitiesalso include performance measurement and automation of the tools used forvalidating the read channel. The group is also responsible for the hardware andsoftware design of all tools required for the above two activities.

Responsibility:

-Design and execute system level tests for complex mixed signal ICs usingstandard test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, network analyzers, etc.

-Work with designers to debug, understand and document new designs.

-Provide technical documentation, descriptions and information to FieldApplication Engineers, Test Engineers and customers.

-Write and maintain software used to automate bench testing. This is done in theMATLAB environment for now; may move to other tools in future.

-Generate professional validation reports and comparative performance analysisof the read channel devices.

-Work with DSP and design teams to find the best optimization procedures forMarvell read channel products.

-Make sure we can showcase the best read channel performance on customer drives.

InternalDescription Join a software engineering team responsible for the development ofevaluation software for Marvell
siliconproducts.

- Strong C++ design and programming skills are required.

- Script programming skills with experience in Matlab or Python are required.

- Experience in development of software interfacing with hardware is a plus.

- Experience in using and programming instruments such as logic analyzers is aplus.


The responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Develop software to communicate with Marvell silicon on evaluation boardusing Visual C++ and C#.

- Maintain and update existing evaluation software.

- Support internal and external users of the evaluation systems.


External Description

Joina software engineering team responsible for the development of evaluationsoftware for Marvell
siliconproducts.

- Strong C++ design and programming skills are required.

- Script programming skills with experience in Matlab or Python are required.

- Experience in development of software interfacing with hardware is a plus.

Qualifications

-Prefer MSCS or MSEE with at least 5 years of industry experience.

- In-depth understanding of object oriented design.

- Proficient with C++ programming.

- Familiar with Microsoft Visual C++ .NET IDE.
