The Mechanical Engineeris responsible for the product feasibility study support and the product developmentin mechanical engineering standpoint by cooperating with a few team engineersand working with EMS, JDM and ODM partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1) Represent the engineering for assigned projects as a project member. Projects are driven by a Project Core Team (PCT) that comprises several team members from various related departments.
2) Proceed product development based on agreements in PCT and approvals from the business unit.
3) Research for new technologies and materials.
4) Support the critical or relevant manufacturing issues.
5) Status reporting.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
Support the required product quality, cost and schedule for every product development projects.
Make enhancements and improvements over every generation products.
Make enhancements and improvements over development process and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience)
Minimum Bachelor degree on ME or equivalent background and experience
Minimum Consumer Electronics or IT product R&D, engineering experience 5 years.
Minimum R&D or Engineering experience 5 years.

REQUIRED SKILLS (including language requirement)
Employment experience as an mechanical engineer in the electronics industry (over 5 years)
The experience in actual businessof the mechanism design of consumer product (ex : TV, Tablet, notebook, Audio device and so on)
The experience of injection molding, metal stamping.
The experience of 2D & 3D CAD.
Fluent English and Chinese communication. Optional Japanese.
Ownership and Leadership mentality
Very good team member, communicator
Creative thinker, out of the box, interested in new technologies and IT trends
Experienced in managing industrial design projects
Financial knowledge
Frequent domestic travelling, Infrequent international traveling
Achievement orientation
Conceptual thinking
Convincing others
Listening to others
Organizational awareness
Relationship building
