how to merge GDS through icfb

Hi, all

I need to export the GDS of my digital part. However, the GDS exported through ICC doen't contains all the infos because of the incomplete Milkyway database. and now I wanna  merge the GDS through GDS, could anyone give me some detailed instructions? the more specified, the better.

gds merging has several way :
1. use icfb ,  first streamin all reference library gds , then streamin in top gds ,
choose  reference lib (no merge) options when streamin , then streamout , ok
2. use -depth >20  when streamout from icc  ,  that is , merge all full gds layer
in all reference library to combined into full gds
3. use -merge from edi when streamOut , -merge all gds
4. use calibredrv , layoutMerge command , can do it ,

i always use 1) icfb to merge , which is traditional and not error prone ,

    I use the icfb to merge according to what you said. But the gds I write out has no the information of the layers.
Can you give me some advice?

    maybe  some files needed but you did not added，like techfile.tf or display.drf  , or you have added, but did not attached it.

I have meet some problems when I stream in the top gds to reference full gds. The stand cells in top gds have covered the same cells in reference lib, so that the merge is failed. I think it is my mistake, but how?

   版主，想请教，具体用icfb merge GDS的脚本流程。我现在是如下做的：1. 用xstream将cell、io的gds都stream in，再将top的gds stream in，再将dummy metal和dummy poly的gds stream in。

2. stream out出gds。但生成的gds，并没有将dummy给merge进去。

想问问， 在stream的时候，要开哪些参数么？版主说的“choose  reference lib (no merge) options”，用xstream脚本的话，是设置哪个参数？
