JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identifies and defines new business opportunities for the business unit in the region of Greater China (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan), either directly or together with the regional sales team. Be responsible of promotion activities for new products rollout. Creates and evaluates business proposals, together with R&D and marketing managers in the business unit. Supports sales team on commercial negotiations for customer engagement. Creates regional business strategies and develops proper business model to serve it. Maintains business unit’s pricing strategy, be responsible of achieving revenue/design-in goals and providing accurate business forecast. Works with sales/FAE, R&D and operation teams to manage post-design-in execution of customer programs and ensures successful ramp of production. Creates and maintains top/middle management contacts within the key customer’s organizations. Provides timely reports regarding market environment changes and competition status.
REQUIREMENT
1. 10~15 years of working experience with 6 ~ 8 years in semiconductor or module products business development, sales or marketing function serving the PC industry.
2. Familiar with laptop computer OEM/ODM industry and supply-chain/ecosystem, experience of managing design-ins and customer programs.
3. Good knowledge of consumer, communication and computing ICs market in the region of Greater China. Knowledge and direct experience of trackpads or touch screens preferred.
4. Good analytical skill of market data and sense of financial numbers.
5. Good skill of customer interface.
6. Can work with cross-function teams to coordinate complex tasks from business to R&D and to operation in order to serve a common goal of success.
7. Leadership to establish, coach and manage a small team for business development in case needed.
8. Good communication skill and command in English.
9. Mature and can work independently. Capable of driving results proactively.
10. Prefer to have working experience in multinational firms.
11. Engineering degree. MBA is a plus.
