                Abstract                A system design analysis for the integrated tuner ispresented in this paper. The DVB-H system is brieflydescribed and the general tuner requirements are givenbased on system simulations. After the review of theconventional tuner architectures, the direct conversionarchitecture is further analyzed and the major designconsiderations including DC offset and I/Q mismatch,even-order distortion are discussed. The block leveldesign specifications for this direct conversion tuner aregiven in the end.
