Developing drivers in the Linux kernel for various xx peripherals (Analog to Digital Converter, Digital to Analog Converter, Audio, Video, Wireless, USB, keypad, Ethernet, Flash, filesystem, memory system, etc) and posting back to kernel.org. Porting kernel features to blackfin architecture. This will require an understanding of the system architecture, and result in proper design and implementation that is accepted by various open source applications.

Candidate will work closely with the kernel, applications and test engineers, developing code / and specifying test and integration with application software layers.

Qualification:
BS or greater in computer science, electrical engineering or a related degree or experience.
3+ years of Linux system level and kernel programming
boot level/pre-kernel (system initialization) programming real time embedded programming on Linux or uClinux
should have experience in some hardware peripherals / buses / protocols like USB, ATAPI, 802.3 (ethernet), SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, WIFI, Bluetooth, Flash experience
should have experience in kernel file system, memory system and SMP.
experience with embedded processors.
proficient in C and Assembly coding with excellent debugging skills.
should have gone through the whole cycle of software development of a product.
commitment to sound software engineering practices, and the open source movement.
ability to work with other open source developers, and check code into other's projects.
good English capability
