Did you perform below sequence after lmgrd start ?

  % ../daemon/snpslmd/lmutil lmreread -c snpslmd.lic



Acually, the sequence for the snpslmd daemon with working license file.

% ../daemon/snpslmd/lmgrd  -c  snpslmd.lic  -l snpslmd.log

% cat  snpslmd.log
     you need to wait until fully message done ,  you might repaet "cat  snpslmd.log" command for wating  until snpslmd read and service started.

% ../daemon/snpslmd/lmutil lmreread -c snpslmd.lic


And .... you need to share "snpslmd.log" ,  "snpslmd.lic"  and  "fc_shell.log" file also.    :::   This mean that   daemon log file , license file and  tool log file.
The partial message is not enought to figure out  the issue.

In my running test of "Fusion Compiler" with your license file, tere is no issue.
This mean that  your license file has no problem.





You has been missed below procedure becasue your log file has no event rereading step.

% ../daemon/snpslmd/lmutil lmreread -c snpslmd.lic

Your license file was not passed the sss check. Try lmreread -c xxx  to see whether you are lucky.

You naver answer for my question about "lmreread".
This is important and essential.



There is no trace of rereading in the daemon log you show.

If you don't answer this, you will not make any progress on this issue.

The other person above said that it was lucky to get reread working because he doesn't know how to get it to work with the Synapsis fake license.

Why do you think it works in my tests with the same license file you provided, but not in yours?

This mean that your license file has no issue.



I have confirmed from your log file that you ran lmreread after executing lmgrd.

It seems that the following two binary patches were not applied after installing FusionCompiler V-2023.12-SP4.
You need to execute the following two commands with root privileges.
This is because if you run them from a user account, the patch may not be applied if the file mode is often set to read-only.

        % pubkey_verify -y
        % synopsys_checksum -y

In my case, I do not use 1shell or 1patch.
I use the pubkey_v1.6 version.

The fact that this was not executed is likely the reason it did not work for you.

There are no other reasons why FusionCompiler would not run.
