Location: Beijing   
Application Engineer Sr I is expected to Support the sale and adoption of Synopsys products to help customers achieve tangible and lasting performance improvements in cost, quality, and development time for projects.  
Provide technical support for Synopsys Test products.  
Support sales via product demonstrations, evaluations, competitive benchmarking and account planning.  
Provide customer support through training, problem resolution, service delivery , TO support and technical account management.  
Provide technical feedback to Synopsys product development teams pertaining to critical issues and recommended enhancements.  
Requirements:  
Minimum BSEE with 5+ years of experience in all aspects of ASIC design.  
   
Technical Skills:  
Should include knowledge of Test tools, flows and methodologies.   
Must possess at last 3 years of recent hands on experience in the Test related implementation and ATPG.  
Strong knowledge in scripting using TCL and Perl is preferred.  
   
Soft Skills:  
Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication of English/Chinese skills are mandatory.   
Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in this position.  
Must possess collaborative teamwork experience and the aptitude and motivation to work with internal and customer groups.   
Must be able to work on-site at customer premises as appropriate.  
Business travel will be required for this position.

RTL2GDS Application Engineer
Location: Shenzhen
Job Responsibilities:
This position is expected to support the sale and adoption of Synopsys products to help customers achieve tangible and lasting performance improvements in the cost, quality, and development time for projects.
This position is expected to be a RTL2GDS expert position, engaging and supporting Synopsys products including synthesis, place&route and low power solutions. In addition, they are expected to articulate design methodologies involving Synopsys tools and be elevator-talk proficient in the full Synopsys tool portfolio.
Their sales support roles include product demonstrations, evaluations, competitive benchmarking and account planning;
Customer support roles include training, problem resolution, service delivery and technical account management.
Need to provide long term on-site support for customer. Also provide technical feedback to Synopsys product development teams pertaining to critical issues and recommended enhancements. Business travel will be required for this position.
Requirements:
MSEE, or equivalent required with 3+ years of experience, or BSEE or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
Design experiences should include SoC design using Verilog/VHDL, physical aware synthesis, STA and place&route.
Experiences in SoC design activities such as full flow low power design, backend design with front-end view are highly value-added.
Excellent verbal and written presentation/communication skills are mandatory.
Customer sensitivity, the ability to multiplex many issues & set priorities and have a helpful/caring attitude towards customers, and the desire to help customers exploit new technologies are essential for success in the position.

Responsible for timely identification and resolution of customer issues with little guidance. Apply and communicate to the global customers independently. Works directly with customers gaining full understanding of their issues; helping them to resolve their critical technical issues with Synopsys solutions or successfully driving those issues to create complete customer satisfaction through interfacing with other Field Application Engineers, Product Application Engineers, or R& D Engineers. Proactively contribute and communicate to the corporation in the areas of tool improvement and leveraged support. Presents product-specific technical trainings to the customers. Demonstrates the ability to handle normal workload and manage typical volume of customer issues.
Job Requirements:
BS in EE/CS/Semiconductor with 3+ years or Master in EE/CS/Semiconductor with relevant experiences. Hands-on experiences in front-end tools and design methodology/flow of IC design, including skills in logic design, synthesis & optimization, static timing analysis, power analysis and formal verification using commercial EDA tools; or the in-depth knowledge of IC test including DFT, ATPG, BIST and JTAG. It is essential that the individual possess excellent customer interface and communication skills.
