Descriptions:

•The position will be utilized in Synaptics IoT-Multimedia System R&D team in Shanghai to design silicon evaluation platforms and reference design platforms in system level for applications of STB/OTT, smart speakers on voice-command, and all kinds of smart video and audio products. That includes system resolution implementation, schematics and PCB layout design debugging and testing, and related system hardware assignments.

&#8226articipates in design review, prototyping, architecture, component research, environment set-up for performance test, power measurement, and system integration.

•Supports customers and internal teams throughout SoC development and customer engagement cycles.

任职条件

Qualifications:

•BSEE +10 /MSEE + 8 years of applicable experience in the field of system hardware.

•Degree in Electronics Engineering, or other related disciplines.

•Experiences in STB, digital media player and other audio/video products are preferred.

•Experience in cost efficient designs focusing in high-volume consumer products are preferred.

•Experience in high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshooting.

•System knowledge in Audio, Video, WiFi/BT, RF Tuner, DRAM, eMMC, HDMI, PCI-E, USB, SATA, SDIO, I2S, IIC, UART, SPI, ADC/DAC and PMIC.

•Experience in customer support.

•EMI/ESD management & reduction experience.

•Familiar with EDA tools: schematics design (OrCAD) and PCB layout (PADS, Allegro).

•Good understanding of the full design cycle, PCB stack-up and manufacturability, and end-product mass production issues are preferred.

•System knowledges in RF/antenna evaluation and application are preferred.

•Working knowledge in design verification and performance evaluation using lab equipments.

•Knowledge of arm processors and embedded software is a plus.

•Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
