不必执念于高VCS版本，2014.03足以，只需将高版本VCS安装目录下etc文件夹下的uvm-1.2复制到2014.03的etc下，并建立uvm指向uvm-1.2的链接，就完成uvm升级了，当然UVM_HOME要指向这个uvm。那个两步的license可以产生至2049年，足够国产EDA诞生了

vcs_vO-2018.09-SP2txt is such a precedure:

edit hostid and hostname and leave others then generate the dat file, edit the snpslmd path by Line 2 with your scl path

update those two of your env variables, set the value which is matched to the dat, the portnum and the hostname matters here, it should be coherenced to the OS config, like /etc/hosts
at last reboot and setup the lmgrd again
