The successful candidate would be hired in as staff engineer level, with the expectation that they would have 3-5 years of experience in the camera, image processing or similar industry. A candidate that has a strong image science background with a focus on image signal processing (ISP) is highly desirable. Previous experience in image sensor tuning is also an asset.

The candidate is expected to operate well in a team environment, is a team player, and demonstrates a high degree of motivation regarding image quality. He/she should be able to easily formulate their areas of concern, sharing this in a group environment. Communication skills are required to be strong in order to allow for close integration with other team members. An ideal candidate should have a demonstrable capacity to learn and be self-motivated. It is also expected that the candidate should be a hands on problem solving individual.

English language comprehension, both written and oral is a requirement. The successful candidate should have at minimum completed a University level bachelor program, but a masters or PhD is also highly valued.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

BS-CS/BS-EE with at least 7 years' experience or MS with at least 5 years' experience in multimedia domain

Strong experience on C/C++/Matlab language with demonstrable C/C++/Matlab programming skills

·
Familiar with algorithms of video / image processing

·
Strong multimedia/video/camera related system level knowledge and experience

·
Experience on camera /ISP software, firmware or algorithm design is preferred

·
Strong individual analysis, problem solving skills and teamwork attitude

·
Fluent in both written and spoken English

·
Experience of working with multi-site teams is preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

·
Design and implement image processor related algorithm and firmware solutions for new product

·
Closely interact with ASIC design team in new feature definition and bring up for future generation product

·
Participate image processor architecture definition, deliver algorithm model/specification and analyze feasibility of technical and architectures

·
Participate in image senor tuning methodology development, improve customer satisfaction and image quality by solving technical problems, customer support and deliver optimization

·
Collaborate and interface with local and global management, development and test teams to deliver a complete product solution

·        Regular communication via Audio/Video conference with global teams

·      Accountable on time delivery of deliverables
