MTS algorithm/firmware Engineer(ISP/Camera)

Position: Shanghai

The successful candidate would be hired in as staff engineerlevel, with the expectation that they would have 3-5 years of experience in thecamera, image processing or similar industry. A candidate that has a strongimage science background with a focus on image signal processing (ISP) ishighly desirable. Previous experience in image sensor tuning is also an asset.

The candidate is expected to operate well in a team environment,is a team player, and demonstrates a high degree of motivation regarding imagequality. He/she should be able to easily formulate their areas of concern,sharing this in a group environment. Communication skills are required to bestrong in order to allow for close integration with other team members. Anideal candidate should have a demonstrable capacity to learn and beself-motivated. It is also expected that the candidate should be a hands onproblem solving individual.

English language comprehension, both written and oral is a requirement.The successful candidate should have at minimum completed a University levelbachelor program, but a masters or PhD is also highly valued.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

BS-CS/BS-EE with at least 7years' experience or MS with at least 5 years' experience in multimedia domain

Strong experience onC/C++/Matlab language with demonstrable C/C++/Matlab programming skills

·
Familiar with algorithms ofvideo / image processing

·
Strongmultimedia/video/camera related system level knowledge and experience

·
Experience on camera /ISPsoftware, firmware or algorithm design is preferred

·
Strong individual analysis,problem solving skills and teamwork attitude

·
Fluent in both written andspoken English

·
Experience of working withmulti-site teams is preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

·
Design and implement imageprocessor related algorithm and firmware solutions for new product

·
Closely interact with ASICdesign team in new feature definition and bring up for future generationproduct

·
Participate image processorarchitecture definition, deliver algorithm model/specification and analyze feasibilityof technical and architectures

·
Participate in image senortuning methodology development, improve customer satisfaction and image qualityby solving technical problems, customer support and deliver optimization

·
Collaborate and interfacewith local and global management, development and test teams to deliver acomplete product solution

·
Regular communication viaAudio/Video conference with global teams

·
Accountable on time deliveryof deliverables
