1. Job Title: RF Application Engineer

Location: Shanghai

In this position, the candidate will be working on platformreference design, mostly on RF hardware for Marvell Application andCommunication application processors.

The responsibility will include but not limited to

-Participatein the RF sub-system (CP) level requirement collection, from customer,marketing, sales, etc.

-Platformlevel competitive analysis：

-PCBABOM analysis

-Definethe second source components and verification methodology.

-Transferringcustomer requirement to real solution and practical circuit levelimplementation. That generally include:

-Schematicsdesign, review and provide PCB design guidance and PCB review.

-SupportRF components sourcing if necessary.

-Productionline coordination for the phone board manufacturing, SMT and assembly, whennecessary.

-Systembring-up and debug test. Responsible the production level delivery quality.

-Formfactorperformance verification and debug.

-Generatingdesign app notes, debug guidance for internal and customer release.

-Platformpost release customer support (internal and external) and maintenance whennecessary.

Mandatory qualifications include:

-BSEE/MSEEdegree, with 3+ years hand-on experience in RF sub-system development inhandset design area.

-Haveexperience in hardware board development including schematics design, boarddebug and test. Knowledge in RF driver software is a plus.

-Havepractical experience on design/test on typical RF circuit. Good understand toRF transceiver structure and typical Tx/Rx parameter. Good to typical RF testspecification.

-Strongcapability on RF circuit debug (Tx/Rx and system level) with test equipmentsupport.

-Familiarto at least three of below modem system: 2G (GSM/GPRS/EDGE), 3G(TDSCDMA/WCDMA),LTE (LTE-TDD/LTE-FDD).

-Antennadesign know-how, RF/WIFI/GPS/NFC co-exist design experience.

-Willingto travel domestically and internationally, for potential customer support.

-Goodcommunication skills—able to communicate with various people and understandpotential request, capable to do task coordinate inside/external company.

-GoodChinese and English reading/writing/speaking

Below qualifications are not mandatory but will be the plusfor candidate

-Experienceon commercial production design will be a big advantage (like phone MD design,SMT and quality control, etc.)

-Experiencein RF/BB interface, like conventional Analog I/F, or digital IF.

-Knowledgeof embedded operating system (OS) architecture will be an added advantage.

-Experienceon phone production level certification would be an added advantage, for exp.CTA, GCF, or operator specified certification.

Job Title: BB Application EngineerLocation: Shanghai In this position, the candidate will be workingon platform reference design, mostly on BB Hardware for Marvell Application andCommunication application processors.The responsibility will include but not limitedto -Participatein the system level requirement collection, from customer, marketing, sales,etc..-Platformlevel competitive analysis：-PCBABOM analysis-Definethe second source components and verification methodology.-Transferringcustomer requirement to real solution and practical circuit levelimplementation. That generally include:-Schematicsdesign, review and provide PCB design guidance and PCB review.-Incharging of components sourcing if necessary.-Productionline support for the phone board manufacturing, SMT and assembly, make sure thegood production throughput.-Systembring-up and debug, test. Responsible the production level delivery quality.-Formfactorsystem level performance verification and debug.-Generatingdesign app notes, debug guidance for internal and customer release.-Platformpost release customer support (internal and external) and maintenance whennecessary. Mandatory qualifications include:-               BSEE/MSEEdegree, with 4+ years experience in application engineering or hardwareplatform development in handset design area, with at least 3 year experience onSmartphone hardware design.-               Haveexperience in hardware board development including schematics design, boarddebug and test. Knowledge to Kernel/BSP is a big plus.-               Havepractical experience on design/debug/test on typical Smartphone key performancedomain, good understanding on at least 3 area of below function domains:Memory, Power management, audio and speech, power consumption, high-speed PCBdesign, LCD/Camera interface, USB/I2C interface, various sensors etc..-               Havepractical PCB manufacturing and production line support experience.-               Goodunderstand to typical connectivity sub-system interface on Smartphone, havehand-on experience to at least one of below interface: Modem/WIFI/GPS/NFC.-               Hand-ondebug capability with test equipment support.-               Willingto travel domestically and internationally, for potential customer support.-               Goodcommunication skills—able to communicate with various people and understandpotential request, capable to do task coordinate inside/external company.-               GoodChinese and English reading/writing/speakingBelow qualifications are not mandatory but willbe the plus for candidate-               Experienceon commercial production design will be a big advantage (like phone MD design,production line support, SMT and quality control, etc.)-               UnderstandAndroid kernel debug, able to do basic analysis to Kernel log; or Android leveldebug.-               Experiencein arm architecture processor hardware/Software development,-               Knowledgeof embedded operating system (OS) architecture will be an added advantage.
