​Internal Description

DTV/STB -- BSP Development/Support Engineer:

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for supporting customer at the BSP level (Boot-loader, Linux, File system etc) for developing and integrating and customer board bring-up. The candidate will be working closely with team members from different locations on customer project development and customer support.

External Description

1. You will be the communication window between customers and baseline development teams in Shanghai and Santa Clara.

2. You will be able to guide porting and integrating and board bring-up based on the customer board;

3. You will work with the customer team and internal teams to ensure that customer requirements are well defined.

4. You will be engaged in the design of products to meet customer requirements and resolve the system level issue from customer; 5. You shall be able to go out for business travel to customer support customer in Asia/EU/North America;

Qualifications

The candidates meet multiple items as below will be preferred:

1. A Bachelor degree or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;

2. Good written and oral communications skills in English;

3. 3+ years experience of software programming with C/C++ for the embedding system;

4. Shall have the technologies and knowledge for Linux/Boot loader;

5. Experienced with supporting customer;

6.General knowledge of hardware, ARM architecture is preferred;
