Senior Physical Design Engineer
Team :GPU
Location:China, Shanghai/Beijing/Shenzhen

DESCRIPTION:
A senior role in physical design for NVIDIA GPU and Mobile chips
Participate in various aspects of physical design, including full chip floorplanning, power/clock distribution, timing optimization, place & route, timing closure, power/signal integrity analysis, and physical verification
Troubleshoot a wide variety of design and flow complicated issues, and apply proactive intervention
Collaborate with RTL, DFT and Circuit designers to ensure the high quality of design implementation and optimization

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  
-        BS in Engineering or Science
-        Power user of EDA  tools from Synopsys (ICC/DC/PT/STAR-RC), Cadence (EDI/EPS) or Mentor (Olympus-SOC)
-        Experience in Clock/Power Distribution, P&R, Timing closure,  RC Extraction, and verification on 40nm, or 28nm technology
-        3+ years of experience in above areas

PREFERRED:
-        MS in Engineering or Science
-        Knowledge in 20nm or FinFET technology, circuit design, and package design
-        Experience in physical verification tools from Synopsys (ICV/Mojave) or Mentor (Calibre)
-        Proficiency in Perl, TCL and Makefile scripts

ASIC Design Engineer

Job Description/Qualifications:
The ASIC design engineer is expected to co-work with architect to define architecture/micro-architecture, do RTL implementation and function verif.

Minimum Requirement:
- BS/MS in electrical/computer engineering and related.
- Strong design/implementation skills in Verilog.
- Solid understanding in feature arch and SW programming model.
- Good timing/power optimization skills of digital design and can drive verification on both IP and fullchip.
- Perl scripting skills is appreciated as a plus.
- Image process knowledge like scaling, displayPort/HDMI etc is a big plus.
- Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a multi-disciplinary group environment

ASIC Verification Engineer

Job Description/Qualifications:
Responsibilities:
-  Developing/Maintaining verification environment, including testbench, regression system
- Developing test plans for and verifying the function of ASIC power/clock control IP
- Responsible for verification completeness, including coverage, drive bug to close, metrics for verification quality
-Monitoring and review test code

Requirement:
- At least 5+ years of ASIC verification experience (MS, EE) or equivalent BS EE, CE, CS.
- The successful candidate should have experience going through at least one complete and successful ASIC design/verification cycle from architecting and creating ASIC test environment to full completion of the verification work.
- Strong programming skills in Perl, Makefile and Verilog/Verilog-PLI/C/C++
- Working Experience with UVM/OVM/VMM (at least one of them)
- A strong communication skill in both Chinese and English is required.
- Knowledge of power management design/verification is a plus

Interact closely with the architecture and software teams at NVIDIA to ensure the best possible performance and results. Work to help improve the developer experience with current-generation hardware as well as determine trends and features for next-generation architectures. An important part of this role will be to support, evangelize, and influence optimal use of Tegra technologies to developers. Through collaboration with external software developers, you will help to optimize their products using NVIDIA technology.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of C/C++ and programming techniques
Strong mathematical fundamentals

In this role, you will open up new domains of application for GPUs by researching and developing GPU computing algorithms, driving their adoption with key application developers and ensuring best possible performance of GPU computing applications on current and next-generation architectures.

Application domains include geosciences, life sciences, computer-aided engineering, computational fluid dynamics, computational chemistry, computational physics, computational finance, electronic design automation, data mining, medical imaging, and many more.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
