Job Summary
Ÿ   Work collaboratively with a diverse staff team to develop and implement China marketing communications and public relations activities.
Ÿ   Coordinate communications projects with vendors for the development and production of marketing communications activities within China market.
Ÿ   Review and edit existing promotional materials for marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines.
Ÿ   Manage internal and external communications to align with corporate messaging and strategies.
Ÿ   Coordinate at the strategic and tactical levels with the other functions within the organization to implement planned activities.
Ÿ   The position reports to the APAC Director, Marketing Communications & PR. Within the organization, the position has working relationships with the country head, cross-region divisions, and staff of the Marketing Communications &PR function from other areas of the company as well as the service providers.

Skills Required:
Ÿ   Strong oral and written communications skills in both Chinese & English.
Ÿ   Needs excellent written and verbal communication skills, with copyediting experience is a plus.
Ÿ   Demonstrated successful experience in writing press releases, making presentations and communicating with media.
Ÿ   Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the execution of marketing communications and public relations activities, with knowledge & experience in the area of social media is a plus.
Ÿ   Ability to implement multiple projects at a time.
Ÿ   Team work spirit is a must.
Ÿ   Required skills & pleasant personality to work with clients, vendors and staff from other areas of the company.
Qualifications:
Ÿ   Minimum of 8 years’ experience in marketing communications or public relations and events organization with demonstrated success, preferably in the semiconductor or ICT (information & communication technology) sector.
Ÿ   Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing and public relations preferred. Graduate degree in a related field is desirable.
