Test Engineer
Job Description
- Will develop processes, fixturing, and software to facilitate manufacturing test for storage products
- Design for Manufacturability and Design for Testability to ensure product quality through methodical and detail oriented test practices
- Design, develop, and document the test plan
- Contribute significantly to multiple projects developing solutions, methods, and efficiencies that lead to quality products and customer success
- Drive corrective action through test enhancements or process modification in response to root cause failure data
- Analyze test results and take action to increase yields
- Transition products to contract manufacturers
Requirements/Qualifications (Education)
- Indepth knowledge on Windows and Unix Platform
- Understanding of System Hardware and Storage related products. Experience in Black-box testing. Writing scripts for mixed-signal Automated testing
- Teradyne Catalyst experience preferred. Experience in the development of manufacturing test processes
- storage technology preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of C/C++, etc. Hardware knowledge to the component level
- Ability to communicate relevant information and ideas persuasively in a concise, organized, and professional manner
- Versatile in dealing successfully with changing conditions managing multiple projects with minimal supervision. Knowledge of DFx engineering practices
- New Product Introduction; and transitioning products to contract manufacturers
- Established reputation for competence and reliability. Education BS EE with 2-4 years experience. |
