Job Title: LSI China OEM Sales Director LSI Corporation is a leading provider of innovative silicon, systems and software technologies

information is available at www.lsi.com < http://www.lsi.com >. Job Responsibilities - Lead the LSI China OEM Sales Team to develop, drive and execute the strategic and tactical
OEM Sales plans/strategies working with business units to achieve planned revenue and
design win goals with the result of consistent business growth in LSI OEM like Huawei, ZTE…etc.
- Build internal metrics to bring detailed visibility to the business. Analyze and evaluate the
effectiveness of Sales methods and results, and recommend and administer policies and
procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Evaluate and formulate the necessary infrastructure support and organizational structure to
sustain the growth of the organization that is consistent and economically adequate for
attainment of business objectives. This includes the recruiting, organizing, training, and
directing of an aggressive OEM Sales Team.
- Leverage relationships with China OEM’s executives to enlarge account penetration and expand the opportunity base. Direct the development of the relationships between LSI’s executives and China OEM’s executives.
- Provide visionary leadership on market positioning including the expansion of the product
offering. Provide input to Marketing and Engineering of the business units to ensure that
current core technologies and products are adapted for the international marketplace
consistent with OEM’s needs. This also includes understanding and successfully navigating
OEM’s business strategy to provide the feedback to LSI business unites to get alignment on
roadmap solutions.
- Provide leadership in maintaining and developing the company image, generating a positive
business climate and motivating employees. Customize negotiations and engagements with
OEM to maintain healthy business climate.
- Maintain thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to Standards of Business
Conduct/Conflict of Interest. Train and motivate subordinates in the importance of full
compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures. Key Qualifications & Experience
As leader of LSI OEM Sales Team, s/he will be responsible for China OEM revenue generation
and design win closure. This person must have proven success selling semiconductor
technology in the Networking and Storage industry. S/he must have prior management
experience at early stage companies and with established technology brands and prior
experience of direct engagement with China OEM. Key qualifications and experience required
include:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience selling semiconductor solutions and a minimum of 5
years of experience directly engaging with China OEM.
- Previously held senior Sales management positions for fabless or ASIC design companies
supporting China OEM.
- Extensive experience in solution selling of Networking and Storage solutions.
- Advanced understanding of IC design and manufacturing, the economics of the markets
served, relationships/networking in China OEM, successful track-record of organizational
interactions and experience engineering unique solutions.
- Ability to leverage previously established relationships and new relationships with key
decision makers in China OEM.
- Proven ability to work with customers throughout the evaluation and benchmarking
process.
- The ability to align personal and Sales team’s compensation with the company’s goals and
objectives.
- Proven experience taking an emerging technology value proposition through customer
validation as well as volume production.
- Understand customer needs and drive Sales that map capabilities with customers while
ensuring profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to personally initiate meetings with targeted companies and drive
Sales.
- Strong creative and strategic approach to growing revenue and design wins
complemented by flawless execution.
- Possess BSEE degree, MBA highly preferred
- Fluent Chinese and English required.
