JOB TITLE:

Position Summary: FPGA  Design Engineer
% of time on task	Responsibilities
1. 85%	Develop,  implement, and verify new FPGA designs
2. 15%	Develop  test specifications
Requirements: Skills and knowledge that are necessary for  the performance of the job, i.e. Degree & area of study, computer skills,  technical knowledge, required abilities, areas and number of years of related  experience, etc.  (Please put in order of importance.)
BSEE or  MSEE
3-5  years of working with FPGA architecture, implementation and verification.
Experience  with Xilinx and/or Altera
Proven  design experience implementing at least some of the following technologies,  such as Gbit LAN, USB, PCIe, high speed ADC’s and DAC’s, DDR memory etc.
Experience  with EDA tools and IDE’s for FPGA development.
Successfully  completed designs that have gone into production
Understanding  of telecommunication theory
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of  personnel and cultures.
