ICC中power grid的详细解释

在看ICC的资料,其对power grid由四类组成:1. pre-routed VDD/VSS metal
2. core and periphery rings
3. vertical and horizontal straps
4. standard cell rails

问题1: vertical and horizontal straps是起什么作用呢?是在block level(即如果不是chip level) design中起power ring类似的作用吗?

问题2: standard cell rails和pre-routed VDD/VSS metal有什么区别呢?pre-routed时不是应该就是将standard cell rails
连接起来么?

straps就是电源条啊， 为了让电源更加均匀的分配，  打成那种田字形，

block level一般既有ring也有strape的， ring就是外围的一圈而已，

std cell rails 就是encounter里面的follow pin，就是横向metal 1 rail，  帮助std cell供电的，
连到附近的ring或strap上
