ASIC的速度不是比FPGA快吗？现在的各产品对速度的要求不是很高吗？

长远发展看，FPGA将取代ASIC，从灵活性上看ASIC是无法与FPGA相比的，另外随着FPGA的应用越来越广泛，成本迅速降低，这恰恰是ASIC的最大优势

Cannot agree the opinion in the article. Whatever tech. used by FPGA can always be used by ASIC. So the FPGA performance can never catch up ASIC given the same the technology. In fact, FPGA is used for prototypes of ASIC and some programmable situations.
