Job De  script  ion:

We are developing software, tools and utilities to manage the reliability, ava
ilability and serviceability of IBM high end storage devices. It plays the cri
tical roles to enable IBM DS8000 series enterprise storage to reach the 99.999
% stability, which is the leading record in the industry. The candidates will
help to develop new feature of the storage product and solve customer's issue.
In the job each developer will have the opportunity to work on the IBM's cutt
ing-edge technologies such as distributed computing and resource management, h
igh speed and high I/O throughput computer architecture and high reliability c
omputing.

Requirements:
UNIX/Linux operating system use experience is a must-have
Proficient in any of the following programming languages/skills is required
C/C++ development skills on UNIX/Linux platforms
J2SE application development
Java Web (JSP/Servlet, XML, Java  script  ) application development
UNIX/Linux network configuration and management
Understanding storage concepts or having storage development experience, such
as RAID, SCSI and SAN, will be a big plus
Knowledge in SNMP, Resource Management and Distributed System Management will
be a plus
Good oral and written English skills are a must-have
Analytical skills, problem solving skills and active Learning
Excellent teamwork and good communication skills
Ability to work independently and to take multi-task
Professional technical leadership for a global project is a plus
