Fully-differential telescopic op-amp design

1 OPAMP specification define
The op-amp is used in stage3 of a 10bit 40Mhz 20mW pipelined ADC. The detail
specification of the op-amp must meet the requirement of corresponding stage. The following is
the derivation of the specifications of op-amps in respective stages and the design work is foxed
on the stage3 and stage4 op-amp.
The 10-bit 40Msps pipelined ADC adopted 2.5bit/stage structure. It includes 4 stages and a
2-bits flash ADC as the last stage. THA is eliminated because of low power consideration. The
whole power dissipation is 20mW, and a lot of efforts are foxed on the low power op-amp design.
