Hi,I spent all of my money to download this soft.thanks.
I have problem when I installed it.yhe system always ask for let specify Release Disk 1.
Do you know why?thanks in advance

Extract all 4 CD into the same directory. Install as usual using installscape.
Please let me know if your problems still cannot solve.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly "Extract all 4 CD into the same directory"
because they have the same directory "SOC08.10.003_lnx86.Update\CDROM1\kits"
how can I extract them into the same directory?or into which directory?
I'm sorry that I have many quextions about this.

Yes. You do the correct things. Just ignore what I said at above.

Hi, I describe what I did as below,it's little bit complex. 1.I copy the files into the same directory and burned into one DVD. The files which are from Disk 1 under \SOC08.10.003_lnx86.Update\CDROM1 and Disk 2 ,3 ,4, under \SOC08.10.003_lnx86.Update\CDROM1\kits 2.then I executed iscape.sh, a.select source directory --->ok. b.select products --->ok c.select install directory --->ok d.then ...

When you extract the SOC08.10.003_lnx86.Update, the total size is 2.00GB.
There are only 166 items without any folder under directory \SOC08.10.003_lnx86.Update\CDROM1\kits.

I test again with the installer, but I didn't face the problems.
I think maybe there is some minor errors during you burn it into DVD.
BTW, since you use the VMWare, you can direct install it by access the softcopy of SOC81_Update.
