Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager of CPD Applications Group, you can look forward to:
Take on the role of key technical expert and primary customer contact responsible for a product or family of products in our Communications Products Division,
Work with XX's sales and marketing teams to develop innovative solutions that use XX-Sierra silicon to address customer design requirements,
Present recommendations for device design,
Working on a team to design and build hardware and software that demonstrate XX-Sierra's latest telecom devices,
Occasional travel to customer sites may be required,
Develop training materials for internal and external audiences.

Job Qualifications:
Requirements:
BS or MS Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent, with over 5 years of working experience.
Strong communications system level knowledge and hardware design skills. Experience with tools and techniques for board-level system design, debug and manufacture.
Solid understanding of communications protocols (OTN, SONET/SDH, Ethernet).
Experience with communications testing equipment such as ANT-20/OmniBER, and SmartBits.
Strong problem solving and hands-on debugging skills are required.
Logical thinking and attention to details are required.
Excellent verbal and written communications (English and Chinese) and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to multitask.
Assets:
Experience with XX's communications devices such as CHESS, ADM, and TEMUX Experience with Vhdl programming for FPGAs and CPLDs
Experience with Embedded C/C++ driver development and debug
Experience with VxWorks or Linux OS
