NO.145-Application Engineer, ASTS Division（Shanghai）

As an ASTS division AE, you will be engaging in the following tasks:

• Deliver technical expertise for solution implementation to customer.

• Best contribute during various phases of the sales process including requirements analysis, feature-by-feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation/execution.

• Understands end customer’s problems, recommends solutions to meet their needs. And act as a coordinator between RD and end customer to resolve the problems.

• Integrates all products and services (at the system/solutions level) into customer’s environment. Ensures the product functions per specifications.

• May deliver customer training classes and consulting related to our application, as well as assist in pre-sales, as part of their tasks.

• Acts as the customer voice to influence future product design that meets customer needs.

• Is knowledgeable of competition and able to identify lockout specification (identify competitive advantage over competition).

• New product introduction, like product documentation/manual/other materials

• Coordinate process and cooperation model with R&D, customers and distributor. May deliver hot site support.

• Travel required.

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline

• Min 2 years of Semiconductor testing related experience

• Experience in C/C++ programming techniques, methods, and tools

• Strong communication skills and great teamwork spirit

• Proficiency in both written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Background knowledge and experience in developing consumer or other related application, like MCU, embedded Flash, ODD/STB, etc.

• PCB schematic design knowledge or experience.
