PrincipalPlatform Software Engineer, Set-top Box Your Responsibilities:
- Be a member of software platform team under BU Home STB BL in China. SoftwarePlatform team is responsible for delivering the core software used for the NXPSTB solutions based on NXP SoCs such as Virgo/VirgoUltra, Libra, Blanco, andPNX833x.
- Work closely with worldwide partners and will be guiding the local team tocollaborate with other geo teams on projects and customer support.
- Responsible for developing and improving the platform software and alsoproviding the sample application and technical support to the design-in teamand the customers. Platform SW includes components such as Linux Kernel, DeviceDrivers, Bootloader, Firmware, and others. A sample application developmentincludes applications to showcase how to use low level driver APIs provided byNXP to do various basic functions such as demuxing, and A/V decoding.
