What I had before successfully is in the range 0.25uA~100uA depending on your application. Generally speaking you can use 10uA as a guess start point if you are doing some optimization.
In general, the charge pump current is from 1uA to 20uA,
you should consider your loop filter area and the pll bandwidth.
if the cp current is small, which bring more cp noise from cp.
but the big cp current leads to a large pll bandwidth. which bring more inband noise and need a high frequency reference clock.
