Job Description:
Member of software engineering team that assists Consumer Electronics Manufacturers adopting and integrating Silicon Image embedded software technology into their CE devices (TVs, Tablets, etc) via a Software Development Kit (SDK). Projects’ lifespans include technical pre-sales assistance, technology adoption/integration and continuing support after customer product launches.
Background/Skills: C/C++ Programming Languages Embedded Software Development Linux, Android, POSIX Software Libraries, Networking Software Externalized Engineering Support Client-side SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, HTTP/S, TCP/IP Multi-threading, Concurrency APIs, Memory Management Consumer Electronics Devices
Activities: Integrating SDK Into Different Platforms/Devices Writing C/C++ Software Professional Support of Business Customer SDK Integration Projects Joint Technical Troubleshooting with Customers Custom Engineering Services Support Customers Worldwide

Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (BS) or Equivalent 5+ years experience in software engineering and at least 3 years of customer support experience. Outstanding skills in operating MS Office and project planning software (MS Project). Good understanding of technical concepts Previous C/C++ programming experience required Previous Linux experience required Strong written and oral English communication capability. Strong teamwork spirit and customer services oriented.
