Job Requirements:
XX is expanding its software operation to its Shanghais office and is looking for an experienced software leader to help build the team.  As the lead of the XX CEC software group you will manage several engineers in two general areas:
·         System performance bench-marking, measurement and analysis.
·         Software test, build and QA.
To that end we expect you to:
·         Be a leader, self starter and eager to build a first class software team.
·         Possess excellent oral and written skills in English.
·         Be comfortable in a dynamic , fast moving environment.
·         Have excellent technical skills and good attitude as listed below

Technical abilities:
·         must be fluent in "C", with in deep knowledge of compilation, linking, optimization options and debugging.
·         4 or more years of working on various open-source programs, with experience in installing packages from the source-files, configuring, compiling, installing patches, etc.
·         experience with "make" ,  ability to write, modify and debug makefiles in a complex makefile hierarchy.
·         sysadmin-style experience with Linux OS, for example should be able to install  or replace subsets  of dynamic libraries
·         fluent in at least one powerful scripting language (like AWK or PERL),  with experience of ASCII datasets parsing, extracting results, etc.
·         fluent with the UNIX "shell" scripting
·         experience with measuring "application performance" and "OS performance"
·         BS degree or (preferably higher) is required.

Attitude:
·         great patience combined with natural curiosity "to discover", "to know" and an attitude "to fix a problem"
·         and attitude to "do it myself" (without waiting for assistance)
·         flexibility to switch from one task to another
