You need to have an internet connection to communicate with sqlite database. If you're running in a virtual machine, create a host-only adapter. If you're running in an isolated machine (no network) it will not work.

If you're runnin vc static connected to the internet and still no access to local db, then the port needed for the db is blocked in your router.

Best way to work with vc formal (and any other cracked tools) is by running a virtual machine with a host only mode network.
