small signal ground is to refer to DC supply voltage,
but for the X point, one input NMOS is push, the other input NMOS is pull,
so from large signal view, this X point is DC voltage all the time, no matter with your signal, which means this X point is also at 0 (ground) level in small signal,
Virtual Ground means only the voltage is at 0 level, but no small signal current interaction between this point and the DC supply (reference small signal ground). |
