Job Description: Communications Systems Test
Engineer(Blue tooth)
Requirements
As communications system test engineer you will
be responsible developing test infrastructure,
implementation and execution of test cases, as
well as running interoperability tests, for our
Bluetooth PC solution. You will work with the
software and digital team, influence the
design, and make sure the implementation is
compliant with the Bluetooth specifications.

Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering or equivalent with 2 years or more
of experience.
- Experience with testing wireless
communication systems is a must.
- Good knowledge of how to diagnose, debug, and
describe system test failures.
- Experience with embedded systems containing a
SoC.
- Experience with Bluetooth protocols and
profiles is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.



Job Description: Sr. Applications Software
Engineer (Blue tooth)
Requirements
As applications software engineer you will be
responsible for maintaining and expanding our
Bluetooth communication stack for PC. In the
protocol stack, you will focus on connection
management, resource management, security
procedures, power management and bandwidth
allocation. You will be working closely with
the team members responsible for the layers
interfacing to your layer.
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical
Engineering or equivalent with 5 years or more
of experience.
- Good knowledge and experience of state
machine driven protocol implementations in
mobile devices.
- Good knowledge and experience of protocol
stacks and wireless communication systems
debugging.
- Experience with Windows applications
development and using Microsoft MFC and .NET.
- Good knowledge of C/C++ on Microsoft Windows.
- Team player with good communication skills.




Hardware Engineer */Application Engineer
*Responsibilities:  *Key areas and duties of
position.
?         System and component level circuit
design including circuits for both Analog and
digital
data, based on knowledge of the product
specifications, regulatory
and customer requirements.
?         Working with other development team
members, establishment of  internal system
specs and interfaces
?         Oversee design of PC board layout.
?         Selection and procurement of parts
for prototypes.
?         Test, troubleshoot, analyze, re-work
and re-test their  designs as a subsystem and
as part of the complete system, against worst
case conditions over all environmental
conditions and operational scenarios and
against all regulations as required by the
product specification.
?         Generate and meet reasonable
schedules.
?         Meet factory cost and development
cost goals.
?         Develop production test strategies
and, in some cases, the production test system
itself.
?         Develop production documentation,
including bills of materials, assembly
drawings, and test procedures.
?         Support manufacturing activities,
including sustaining existing products and
training manufacturing personnel
?         Understand the customer and the
application.  Contribute to product
specification as needed.
?         Support marketing proposal
activities.
?         Assist others with technical
problems.
?         Generate new product ideas.

Software QA Engineer （blue tooth）
Shanghai, China
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for
writing software test plans, test cases and
designing tests for Atheros products. You will
also be responsible for maintaining testbeds.
The individual in this position will be
performing initial debug activities as well as
providing detailed bug information to software
developers and working with them to
correct/eliminate the issues. You will also be
called upon to write automation test scripts in
Perl, Tck/Tk, Expert, etc.                     
         
Qualifications:
MSCS or BSCS and 3+ years of Layer 2 WLAN test
engineering experience via testing and/or
developing of networking products. Experience
with Windows, Embedded Linux and other RTOS
environments is a must. You must possess a
strong background in writing test plans, test
cases, designing tests and maintaining
testbeds. Excellent skills with respect to
automation scripts (Perl, Tcl, Expect etc.) is
required. Must have demonstrated ability in
conducting tests and providing test reports. A
good understanding of WLAN is highly desirable.




Software Engineer （blue tooth）
Shanghai, China

Responsibilities:
-To develop, integrate and test our SW products
from our Shanghai and/or other world wide SW
teams
Requirements:
- Experience with wireless drivers and/or other
networking drivers
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- Familiarity with hardware debugging.
- 2 to 5 years of OS and/or embedded SW
development, integration and release experience
preferable in communication and WiFi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software
Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- OS and/or embedded SW experiences are
strongly preferred
- Good Chinese and English oral/written
communication skills
