这个IP是一个MPEG-4 Video Encoder Core,但对于MPEG-4,有了Encoder也就有了Decoder。下面是介绍:
The core supports a wide range of image sizes (Advanced Simple Profile Levels 1 to 5), making it suitable for applications from video conferencing to real-time VGA video streaming. Advanced functions like DCT are built-in, and it requires only an external SDRAM for frame storage and any processor for supervision.
Developed for easy reuse with ASICs or FPGAs, the core fits in 40K ASIC gates.
