Compute Performance Developer Technology Engineer （BJ）

Job Description

Whatyou’ll be doing:

NVIDIA is looking for a passionate,world-class computer scientist to work in its Compute Developer Technology(Devtech) team.

In this role, you will research anddevelop techniques to GPU-accelerate leading applications in high performancecomputing fields within machine and deep learning, scientific computing, anddata processing, performing in-depth analysis and optimization to ensure thebest possible performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.

This involves:

- Working directly with keyapplication developers to understand the current and future problems they aresolving, creating and optimizing core parallel algorithms and data structuresto provide the best solutions using GPUs, through both library development anddirect contribution to the applications.

- Collaborating closely with thearchitecture, research, libraries, tools, and system software teams at NVIDIAto influence the design of next-generation architectures, software platforms,and programming models, including by investigating impact on applicationperformance and developer productivity.

What weneed to see:

- A good degree from a leadinguniversity in an engineering or computer science related discipline (BS; MS orPhD preferred).

- Strong knowledge of C/C++ and/orFortran.

- Strong knowledge of softwaredesign, programming techniques, and algorithms.

- Strong mathematical fundamentals,including linear algebra and numerical methods.

- Experience with parallelprogramming, ideally CUDA C/C++ and OpenACC.

- Good communication andorganization skills, with a logical approach to problem solving, good timemanagement, and task prioritization skills.

Some travel is required forconferences and for on-site visits with developers.
