Job Summary:
As part of Linux base kernel graphics and CQE team, supporting Linux amdgpu graphics driver deliverables. The candidate will be responsible for software testing design, planning, scripting and execution to support Linux amdgpu stack release goal.

The individual should be self-motivated, created and proactive, to work successfully in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and lab environments. The individual will work closely with developers, project managers and other stakeholders, executing test iterations, tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution. The individual should have a strong understanding of open source Linux stack architecture and development process, automation testing framework and QA lifecycle and methodology.
Job Responsibilities:
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent

- Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
- Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Jenkins etc, continuous driving test efficiency and test coverage at both component level and system level
- Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
- Using existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performance testing/validation function
- Execute and analysis automation test results
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
- Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
- Work with other software component and testing teams to maintain quality baseline for amdgpu Linux driver at both component level and stack level
- Streamline the testing process, continuous driving improvement to testing coverage and test efficiency
- Work with project management, dev teams for new Linux distro, new asic bring up on Linux amdgpu stacks
- Be responsible for continuous integration and testing development, actively maintain quality baseline of Linux stacks

Requirement:
- MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent education background
- Solid programming skill using C/C++, Python
- Solid experience of Linux kernel or Linux device driver development
- Deep knowledge of Jenkins or other automation testing framework
- Deep knowledge of open source driver development process
- Experience of X server or popular Linux based window system
- Experience of OpenGL, OpenCL/HSA, CUDA or MS DirectX as a plus
- Experience of software development in open source community as a plus
- Experience of android framework or kernel development as a plus
- Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking (Pass CET-6 as minimum or TOEIC top 30%)
