Description:

1.The candidate will be responsible for  reference platform system HW development based on   Media Processor SoC target for Smart TV, set-top box and Digital Media Player products, etc;

2.Support customers for hardware design and project development base on   reference platform, which includes design and review for schematics and layout, H/W bring-up, test, trouble-shooting and on-site support;

3.As a channel for communication between customers and   R&D team. Gather requirements from key customers and design reference platform as per customer requirements.

Qualification:

1.BSEE+ 5 /MSEE + 3 years of applicable experience in field of system hardware;

2.Degree in Electronics Engineering, or other related disciplines;

3.Experience in customer support is necessary;

4.Work experience on smart TV, Blu-Ray disc players, Digital Set-Top box or Digital Media Player is preferred;

5.Excellent system hardware development capability and problem solving skills;

6.Experienced in high-speed digital and mixed-signal circuit design and troubleshooting;

7.Knowledge of DDR SDRAM, SATA, HDMI, PCI-E, USB, SDIO, NAND, Video, Audio, IIC, UART, SPI, ADC/DAC power regulators, and power management;

8.EMI/ ESD management & reduction experience;

9.Be able using EDA tools for schematics (OrCAD) design and PCB layout (PADS, Allegro) review;

10.Good understanding of the full design cycle and manufacturing requirements of the end products;

11.Working knowledge in design verification and performance evaluation using lab equipments;

12.Knowledge of video and audio compression standards, video processing techniques and digital TV broadcasting standards desired;

13.Knowledge of ARM processors and embedded software is a plus;

14.Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Self-starter and organized;

15.Available to travel;

16.Good in English communication;

17.Be curious and eager to find the best solutions to complex challenges;

18.Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever changing technical challenges;

19.Good in teamwork.
