1. Software Design Position:
Graphics Driver Development Engineer
Game ISV Technical Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and maintain AMD Graphics driver for Microsoft Windows or Linux environment, including but not limited to following areas.
Promote AMD Graphics technologies into game engine.
1) Work on next generation DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan technologies
2) Work on support for next generation Microsoft Windows or Linux operating system
3) Work on AMD next generation APU/GPU
4) Maintain current driver and improve performance
5) Design new rendering technologies
6) Support key OEM customers and ISVs
Requirements:
• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or an equivalent
• Deep Knowledge of C/C++ programming.
• Knowledge of PC architecture
• Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking (Pass CET-6 as minimum or TOEIC top 30%)
• A self-motivated team player
• Able to work under high pressure and time limitation
• Good communication skill and able to work with stakeholders effectively
• Project experience during university education is a plus
• Knowledge of Computer Graphics is a plus
• Knowledge of device driver development under Microsoft Windows or Linux is a plus
• Knowledge of x86 assembler language and x86/x64 CPU instructions is a plus
• Knowledge of Windows kernel is a plus
• Knowledge of Object Oriented design is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft DirectX or OpenGL is a plus
• Knowledge of software debugging is a plus
 
2. Hardware Design Positions:
ASIC Verification/Performance Engineer for Graphics IP
ASIC Design Engineer for Graphics IP
Responsibilities:
1) Understand the architecture of the graphics chip and functional block being designed
2) Be responsible for developing, maintaining the graphics design and verification flow/methodologies
3) Participate IP and SoC level graphics design and verification work
4) Build test bench and test case for simulation
5) Debug function bugs of graphics chips
Requirements:
• Background in EE/ME/CS field, Master Degree or Bachelor Degree
• Experience on Verilog HDL coding and debugging
• Understand verification methodology and concepts
• Experience on C/C++ programming and debugging
• Be familiar with script programming (Such as Perl, Python, Makefile …)
• Understand graphics pipeline is a plus
• Knowledge of ARM Mali GPU is preferred
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good written and fluent oral English
• Good communication skill and teamwork spirit |
