The candidate for ASIC WMACDesign Engineer should meet the following criteria:

The Role:

·
ASICdesign for WiFi MAC

·
Participatein development of microarchitecture specification and RTL implementation ofdigital blocks. Responsible for all phases of design including design,verification, synthesis, timing closure and eco.

·
Workclosely with the California teams

·
Supportchip tapeout and bring up

Requirements:

·
At least 5years ASIC design experience

·
BS inElectrical Engineering (or equivalent) is a must have, MSEE is desired.

·
Familiarwith Verilog and System Verilog.

·
Design experiencewith Wireless MAC.

·
Workingknowledge of networking protocols such as 802.11ac or 802.11n, TCP/IP, 802.3

·
Experiencewith Medium Access protocols.

·
Familiarwith lint, CDC, formal verification methodologies.

·
Understandingof basic DFT concepts.

·
Hands onexperience with synthesis and STA.

·
FPGAemulation experience a plus

·
Goodcommunication and problem solving skills.

·
Chipbring-up experience, including use of Logic Analyzer and Oscilloscope fordebugging
