Title:senior SW QA and validation engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all system software (BIOS, Driver, Firmware, Tools,     Diagnostic, Infrastructure, etc.) are tested properly and delivered to     customer and internal engineering teams on time before and after the     silicon arrival.
• Write comprehensive test plans used to insure compliance to     specification and that overall quality goals are achieved.
• Identify and help resolve various software, ASIC, board and     firmware issues, provide diagnostics support to external customers and     internal engineering teams
• Responsible for execution of programs, multiple projects on the     go
• Manage quality review audits and drive best quality practice.
• Plan and conduct test centric Post Mortem evaluation/review.
• Desire candidate would also have a moderate to high level of     programming experience which can be leveraged for projects which have     automated testing opportunities as well as knowledge in open source and     embedded system technologies (a plus)

REQUIREMENTS

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. In EE or CS or equivalent is required
• Good written and verbal communication skills in both Mandarin     and English

EXPERIENCE ANDSKILLS

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience on QA or Validation and     closely interact with software designers
• Strong test engineering ability and software quality assurance     understanding
• Knowledge of PC products (CPU/GPU/APU, motherboard…) and     peripherals (DIMM, Hard Disk, Monitor, SD, SATA, USB….)
• Hands-on experience with x86 silicon, platform or software     validation is preferred.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux OSes. Experience in system     management will be a plus.
• Proficient in programming skills will be a plus
• Strong debugging and testing skills
• Good team worker and willing to work overtime and work under     pressure.
