1、Linux BSP AE

Location: Shanghai

External Description:

Application engineer for supporting customer application onBSP/Driver/Android integration layer

The candidate must have Minimum BSEE/MSEE with 3+ yearsexperience in application engineering or software engineering in smart phoneindustry or embedded area. Shall have experience in Linux BSP/Android HALsoftware development for Marvell application/communication processor or ARMprocessor. Knowledge in Windows Mobile, Windows CE or hardware will be a plusas well as multimedia and application software.

In this position, the candidate will be working on customersupport mostly on Android/BSP/driver layer for Marvell application orcommunication processors.

The responsibility will includebut not limited to

- Support customer applications in a timely manner byphone/email/online and possibly onsite.

- Customer board bring up and driver debug support

- Provide workaround or isolate problem then escalate todeveloper team

- Provide proper communication with customer on daily basis

- Get customer feedback on product feature include hardwareand software

- support international and domestic customers

Qualifications:

- Motivation of working closely with customers and internaldeveloper team

- Pay attention to details on customer issuedebugging/reproducing/solving.

- Interested in new technology trend

- Excellent communication skills

- Good Chinese and English reading/writing/speaking

- Willing to travel when demanded

- Strong ASM*, C, C++ programming and C-coding skills

- Linux BSP and/or Android HAL development debug experience.

Additional qualificationsinclude:

- Experience in ARM-Linux* drivers developing or WindowsMobile, Windows CE BSP development is a plus

-Knowledge of Marvell application/communication processor,or other ARM* architecture processors

- Knowledge of embedded systems

- Knowledge of embedded operating system (OS) architecture

- Knowledge in hardware and/or application software would bean added advantage

External Description:

• Work closely with customers on Android smart-phone projects with perspective insoftware part

fromboard bringup to product mass production

• Regularly solve customer reported BSP/Linux issues timely or report to backendR&D to solve it

timely.

• Onsite board bringup, failure analysis per customer requirement

• Organize technical meetings and trainings with customers engineering team persales request

Qualifications:

•  B.S. degree or above in electricalengineering, computer science or equivalent.

• Solid knowledge and experience on C/C++.

• 3+ years of Linux driver develop experience on ARM or equivalent embeddedplatforms.

• Basic hardware knowledge will be a plus.

• Good communication and can work as individual and under pressure

• Good English read/write/oral capability.
