Design Engineer (non-switching power, high precision analog design)
Summary: The candidate will perform architectural and transistor-level design and implementation of CMOS power ICs. The candidate will contribute at many levels of the development cycle including architectural design, circuit design, simulation, modeling, verification and bench characterization
Responsibilities: 1. Proactively communicate & negotiate with product definers on device objective specification 2. Analog feasibility and circuit design 3. Schematic entry, simulation, modeling, verification, lab evaluation of the design and documentation 4. Design for test, manufacture and low cost production
Qualifications:
1. Must have at least 4 years analog design experience
2. MSEE degree (or BS degree with 5 years experience) highly preferred 3. Must have good knowledge and designed/specified some or all of the following blocks: LDO, Power Switch, Instrumental Amplifier, Low Power Amplifier, Class-D Amplifier, ADC (SAR, Pipeline, Delta-Sigma), etc. 4. Must be able to direct layout for optimal analog performance
5. Must have understanding of device physics
6. Knowledgeable about CAD simulation and mask design tools such as Cadence Spectre, Assura LVS and DRC tools 7. Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated and pro-active 8. Good oral and written communication skills in English |
