Job Responsibilities:

As a DSP (Digital Signal Processing) engineer for 芯得, the candidate will join ateam of experienced scientists and engineers to develop exciting technology inimage and video processing. The position will give you an opportunity tocombine your ingenuity with the next generation products in TV and Panelindustry. Typical duties performed as follow:

1.
Design and implementation of video post processing algorithm such astrue motion based frame interpolation, super-resolution, noise reduction;

2.
Design and implementation of image algorithm such as local dimming,scaling, color enhancement, 2D to 3D

3.
Support the verification and optimization of algorithm according to HWrequirements;

4.
Work with image quality team to improve image quality, and tune imagequality according to requirements of customers.

Minimum Requirements

1.
Ph. D or Master in EE/CS specializing in digitalsignal processing, image processing, video processing, computer vision, patternrecognition, or computer graphics;

2.
Thorough background in signal processing, image andvideo processing, statistical analysis and pattern recognition;

3.
Solid background in video codec, such as H.264 and H.265.

4.
Proven ability in designing, implementing, debuggingand understanding complex algorithm;

5.
Solid programming skills in C/C++ and MATLAB;

6.
Strong analytical, creative, self-motivated, goodcommunications skill;

7.
Enjoy R&D work, open and positive attitude;

Additional Preferred Skills

8.
Experience with IC design flow and methodologies;experiences with algorithm design targeted for IC and FPGA;

9.
Previously worked on video processing algorithmssuch as motion estimation, super resolution, deinterlacing, scaling, noisereduction is a big plus;

10.
Familiar with digital video algorithm andinterfaces;

11.
Strong communication skills, presentation skills,good organization and skilled in writing high quality engineeringdocumentation.

Responsefor design architecture ofvideo/image processing chip or IP and create/maintain c model for the chip orIP.

6.
Architecturedesign work includes mapping algorithm solution into hardware solution fromfollowing aspects:

a)
Functionpartition of algorithm solution;

b)
DesignInterface and interface’s protocol design between IP block or sub-block;

c)
Controlmechanism define, calculation logic evaluation, storage size and bandwidthevaluation based on cost, throughput,

7.
Cmodel work include following aspects:

a)
Createc model based on original algorithm c code and architecture

b)
Createmapping between c model’s behavior and RTL behavior

Requirements

12.
3+ (5+ for senior) years experience in ICindustry

13.
Background and experience

a)
RTLdesign and verification background at IP level and chip level

b)
Familiarwith often used interface protocols and their design and verification

c)
Familiarwith IC develop tools;

d)
It isbetter have graphics and video chip design background

e)
Familiarwith c++ or c and their develop environment
