Key Responsibility:
This position requires the candidate to understand the ASIC functional blocks and to develop test programs for Design verification, ASIC screening and Board level functional tests. The candidate will be required to work independently and must be a self-starter. This is a low-level software position, in a hardware environment.

The candidate will be required to work in any of the following areas:
- Test and utilities development.
- ASIC Emulation
- ASIC bring up, verification and debugging.
- ASIC testing on a socket level and Board level functional tests.
- ASIC and Board level fallout and yield improvement.
- Customer diagnostics Issues.
- Manufacturing issues (fallout).
- Customer specific diagnostics and tools.
- Initial products launch / bring up.
- Initial product launches FA (early stage of product life cycle).
- Apple diagnostics and support.
- Utilities development under Windows, Linux and IA-64.


Experience - External:
Skilled and Experience Requirement:
1. Electrical or Computer Engineering Degree.
2. 2 - 5 years working experience.
3. Must have experience with C programming.
4. Experience with C++ and Intel 8086 Assembly is beneficial. (a plus)
5. Good communication skills.
6. Experience / Skills with low level programming and debugging is a requirement.
