Actually,I think ft is defined by engineers, so ft does not exist physically.
It depends how you define ft.
When you do the simulation to measure ft, diode-connected is not absolutely correct. well, at least in KULeuven.
the diode-connected "ft" you get, in KULeuven, we call it f3dB. it's lower than ft because parasitic capacitance at the drain is added to the gate. That's a way to judge a process. |
